Deepika Velusamy (தீபிகா வேலுசாமி) — known to her readers as Writer Deepika (writer.deepika_) — is a young Tamil poet, story and quotes writer whose verses turn everyday emotions into simple, heartfelt words.
Her debut solo poetry collection, சிந்தனையின் கவிதைகள் (Sindhaiyin Kavithaigal), was published by Poetry World Org (PWO) in 2025. She is also a co-author of the PWO anthology “My Lifeline”, and shares new poems and quotes with her readers on Instagram and YourQuote.
Her themes move between love, loneliness, devotion, perseverance and self-confidence — written so that every reader can find a piece of themselves in the lines.
